E-Edition: Frequently asked questions
What is an E-Edition?
E-Editions are online versions of newspapers that look just like the real thing. Stories are displayed on pages, which 'turn' as your browse through them.
Unlike a normal website, the E-Edition looks the same as the printed product and includes all the same content.
Can I try before I buy?

When is the E-Edition updated?
Each day's E-Edition is created at the same time as the paper is being printed. The Ipswich edition is available online from noon, Felixstowe from 1pm.
How much does it cost to view the E-Edition and what do I get?
You can buy a single edition for £1, or save by subscribing for a month for £9, six months for £50 or a year for £90.
The Evening Star is published in different editions tailored to specific areas of Suffolk. You can choose which edition to view. You will also receive all our supplements - like Homes, Drive and Jobs - for the papers you've bought.
How long can I view my E-Edition for?
If you buy a single edition you can return and look at that specific edition at any time.
If you buy access for a month, six months or a year, you can view all papers published during that period for up to six months after publication up until your subscription expires. For example, if you purchased a month's access on July 1, you would have full access to all papers until August 1.
Can I download and print pages?
Yes. You can download and print PDFs. Just zoom into a page and the Save as PDF button will appear. You can also print direct from your browser, but for maximum control we recommend you download and print a PDF.
Please note you need to register to use this service. This is a separate registration from other parts of the Evening Star website. Payments for the E-Edition are handled securely by our partners Pagesuite and Secure Trading.
