FIREFIGHTERS were called to an Ipswich road after three wheelie bins and a fence went up in flames.

FIREFIGHTERS were called to an Ipswich park after a lawnmower caught fire.


Man in hospital after assault

A MAN was taken to hospital following an assault in Ipswich. Emergency services were called to Spenser Road, in Whitton, at 10.27pm last night. A 45-year-old man was taken to Ipswich Hospital complaining of a broken leg.


Car on fire in Offton

FIREFIGHTERS attended a car on fire in Offton, near Great Blakenham, last night. The vehicle was found alight at 10pm in Ipswich Road and a crew from Needham Market extinguished flames by 10.30pm.


Bin set alight in Kesgrave

A BIN was set alight in Kesgrave in the early hours of this morning. A fire crew from Colchester Road attended the scene in Ashdale Road at 4.30am and extinguished the flames.


Camper van on fire on A14

FIREFIGHTERS tackled a camper van on fire on the A14 yesterday. A crew from Elmswell and one from Needham Market attended the scene on the eastbound carriageway in the Stowmarket area at about 1.10pm.
