The Anglia Cancer Network (ACN) - the body that coordinates the development of cancer services in Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Peterborough and part of Bedfordshire - says surgery for head and neck cancer needs to be transferred from Ipswich to Norwich to comply with national guidelines.

The Evening Star is backing cancer experts and patients at Ipswich Hospital who say that it is important to keep health care local, and that there is no need to mess around with a service that works.
