Just heard the after shock and boom @ 19:40. Shock the house! Glad it was at sea rather than on the beach - Felixstowe would have had a major incident on it's hands! Thanks to all those concernedin making it safe. Especially 'Our' Royal Navy. Steve - Ex Royal Navy ;-)

I watched the explosion and it was more like a squib than a bomb. Indeed it was so feeble I thought I had only seen the attached charge and the bomb was a dud.
