Manningtree Station Pub Smashed up by so called QPR fans I have just read evening star on line to see 15 QPR fans ran of a train at manningtree station and caused trouble and scared children as well at the pub. I live near the station and i am outraged that the so called football fans would do this. I would like to know why the police had to be called, i thought they went on trains from Ipswich after a match. Properly more police cut backs leaving the public endangered. I feel that the 15 or so who did this were scum of the earth and should be baned from all football and better still do community service and restore the station pub damaged. One good thing being a tractor boy is we rarely see trouble at home or away.

The majority of QPR fans are just that, football fans and in no way approve of the actions of these idiots,I hope your readers and Ipswich fans understand this. The sooner these fools who claim to support our club are banned from going to football the better. U rs

I thought all that nasty stuff at footie games had stopped maybe its been glammed up by such films as Football Factory and Green Streets. I think its pathetic that 15 men aged approx 40+ should feel the need to jump from a train to attack others. I am proud to be a town supporter and although our supporters do get a rough deal at the hands of thugs its very rare for us to cause any trouble at matches or after!!

Its a real crying shame that this kind of intolerable behaviour is still happenning in the world of football-the game of football has suffered atrociously and massivley for this over the many years and if this ignorance and loutish behaviour continues then the game of football itself will suffer only more and more, us genuine ones who love, enjoy and respect the game will only end up being without it and lose out if this continues because a few drunken idiots who think its a laugh and a joke to have a tear up and terrify the life out of innocent people-BAN THEM.
