Stone-the-crows!! Another great piece of news!!
Mr Straight-forward
What a shame that people fall for nonsense like dowsing. Careful tests have shown over and over again that dowsing doesn't work; but the believers can convince themselves they have magical powers. Some think they can dowse with a map. Some think they can dowse for missing people with a lock of hair. Some think they can find "ley lines" or other such mystical nonsense. In this case, magical dowsing rods somehow pointed out a circle of stones. A more sensible order might question why the dowsing rods weren't overwhelmed by all the other stones in the ground and in local masonry. What a shame you waste column inches on daft ideas about dowsing for stone circles. Did the dowser see fairies too? Isn't this the 21st century? Why do people still take these superstitions seriously?
