Ipswich Town Football Club

Joe Royal should give the player's a stiff talking to, we need to be winning games now or we could see Town in the 1st division next season. If  this did happen I for one would stop supporting Town. Come on Joe if these player's can't score goals then it's time to get rid. Well I feel better for getting that of my chest.

It is time for all Town Supporters to accept that the club has battled well thoughout the season against injuries and a big slice of ill fortune and are still on the fringe of the play-off places.  With just a liittle better luck and a lot of hard work the squad will finish the season in style and maybe - just maybe - make the sixth place in the CXhampionship.  This regardless of the final result would be a terrific conclusion to the season.  We may not get promotion this season but next season looks a good bet.  UPTHE TOWN

Re: Ipswich Town Football Club

I think the best thing for the rest of this season is to forget the playoffs and promotion and just concentrate on playing attractive football, maybe trying some new things e.g tactics, player positions etc and getting our players back from injury. Now's the time to plan for next season by using the time we have left this to try new things. There's no way at all that Ipswich can get relegated so we've got nothing to lose.

Maybe even concentrate on potential, but realistic new signings that we can get so Royle has a good idea of what formation, tactics and his first XI ready for next season.

Re: Ipswich Town Football Club

Although on my last post I wrote that the Town should concentrate on next season, well thanks to Luton Town yesterday beating us 1-0, I have to say we have nothing to worry about!!!

Have you seen the list of youngsters making waves in the first team and reserves, not to mention the cup-winning Youth Team!

Pity we didnt keep Sheringham Jr, but with the amount of talent we've got coming thru the ranks, it wont be long b4 we're back in the over-hyped Premiership with our team of kids!
