Hi Emma,
The Walk To The Moon system was designed to enable each walker to update their own steps total, but also to show walkers as part of a team.
Walkers are identified by their email address. To add extra walkers, first make sure you are logged out and then each walker should create their own membership account using a different email address. They can then sign in and update their own total as and when they want.
If you or any of the other walkers need help with this, please email me directly at web@eveningstar.co.uk
In the meantime I've updated your account to show your steps are for seven people, rather than you walking round in circles all day!
James.
Hi Emma....I had the same problem with our team as we only had 2 email addresses between us all. As you haven't any way of getting any more email addresses then you notify web@eveningstar.co.uk who you are, your team name and email address and that you are logging on for 7 people. Then they are able to put on the tables , in brackets ) that you are logging steps for everyone under your name. Unfortunately that means that not all your team are registered which is a shame, I think. It might have been useful if we'ed known beforhand as some of our smaller walkers are really disappointed that their names aren't on the tables.

Just when I thought everyone was honest...there's now a thought that some of you out there are logging steps for others under your name and not admitting to it!
How underhanded can you get!
Do we need a - 'Dobb the person in' page where you can do it anonymously, so we can make sure the prizes go to the deserving steppers?
Are there more than 2 teams ( mine and Emmas ) who are having to log for lots of people under one name?Who thinks we should have a league of our own?
There is a certain amount of trust involved in people entering their scores honestly but we do keep an eye on step numbers and any suspiciously large jumps.
And there's no need to worry about people with collated steps unfairly scooping the prize - we know how many people are in each team and how many pedometers were dished out, so it will be taken into account in the final tally.
Making it easier for co-ordinators to manage individuals step totals is something we'll definitely be looking at for future walks.
